VE1CDN UHF Fusion Repeater

A new Yaesu Fusion digital repeater has been installed at the NSARA sponsored VE1CDN repeater site, Upper Sackville, NS.

Frequency: 442.975 MHz with a +5 MHz offset.

In addition to digital operation, the VE1CDN Fusion repeater will operate on analog with transmit and receive CTCSS  tones of 82.5 Hz.

Initial testing testing shows that repeater coverage includes all of Halifax and Dartmouth, highway 101 to Windsor, highway 102 to near Truro, and highway 103 to Hubbards.

This is Phase 1 of the project.  Phase 2 of the project will add Internet linking.  Phase 3 and beyond will add additional capabilites.
