Content for all hams

Recently I got an email grumbling about how the daily newsletter has been nothing more than a list of silent keys.

Without any other content being submitted the only ‘news’ will be items that I run across on my own. Other than silent keys, there have been nearly zero submissions from the ham community.

The goal is for this site to be a valuable resource for the ‘goings on’ in the ham community. ANY news is news! Let us know what your club is up to, tell us about activities that are happening.

If any clubs without their own web site would like to have a page on this site I’d be more than happy to set one up for you.

If any ham has an interest in writing some articles for the site, let me know and I’ll set you up with an editors account.

All clubs in Atlantic Canada have stories. Some post them in newsletters while others post them on websites. All should post them on the Atlantic Amateur website. When I started the website back in 2008 I was looking for one central point for all amateurs to go to to read the latest news & Information from around the Maritimes. This works only when the amateur radio community gives their stories and supports the website.
New members, community & club events, auxiliary EMO, Silent keys, Flea Markets, auctions, Field Day, new repeaters etc. Share the information.
As I have always said since becoming a ham, we are communicators, let’s communicate.
