May 7, 1935 – January 29, 2019
Passed peacefully away at home in the presence of his loving family on
Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Frederick James March of Green’s Harbour,
aged 83 years.
Predeceased by parents, Jessie and Janie March; parents-in-law,
Ambrose and Elsie Cooper; brother, Harry March; sister and
brother-in-law, Nita and Dick Matthews; and brothers-in-law, Harold
Cooper, Fred Warren, Walt Donaldson, and Eleazer Crocker.
Fred will be forever remembered by his loving wife and best friend of
59 years, Rose Marie; also leaving to mourn with fond and loving
memories are his 5 children, Fred (Sherry), Carl (Donna), Laverne
(Glen) Rowe, Scott (Jackie), and Lori (Greg) Crocker – all of Green’s
Harbour; 13 grandchildren, Mark (Lori), Stephen (Bobbi-Sue), Matthew
(Jessica), Michelle (Chris), Stacey (John), Felicia (Mark), Carl
(Allison), Michael (Ashley), Steven, Nicholas (Gabrielle), David,
Tamara (Kirk), and Ryan (Tarrah); 15 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kara,
Amber, Lily, Hudson, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jordan, Somer, Char-lee, Liam,
Emalee, Alex, Finn, and Lincoln; also lovingly remembered by sisters,
Pearl Donaldson, Lorraine Warren, Glenys (Lew) Hefford, and Sandra
(Don) Reid; brother, Hubert (Daphne); sisters-in-law, Nita Crocker,
Beulah Cooper, and Myra March; brother-in-law, Aubrey (Jesse) Cooper;
as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear

Care Home Support, New Harbour; Public Health, Heart’s
Delight-Islington; the Carbonear General Hospital and the Dr. W. H.
Newhook Community Health Centre, Whitbourne.
Resting at Faith United Church, Green’s Harbour with visitation
Wednesday, January 30, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, and Thursday, January 31, 2:00
– 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held from Faith United Church, Green’s
Harbour on Friday, February 1 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at
Faith United Cemetery, Green’s Harbour.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Fred’s
memory may be made to Mazol Shriners Patient Transportation Fund.
